I am a Flint, Michigan native with a love for humanity, culture, volunteerism, philanthropy, and 'The Arts'. A social worker by heart and profession I hold a Bachelors of Social Work from Western Michigan University and a Masters of Social Work from The University of Alabama's Advanced Standing program. I possess over 15 years of experience, specializations include Mental Health, Addictions, Co-Occurring Disorders, and Childhood Trauma. My experience includes working in various capacities with children, adolescents, and adult survivors of childhood abuse and neglect . Also,  I have a wealth of experience working as a clinical assessor, and as an individual and group psychotherapist for those diagnosed with Mental Health diagnosis/SPMI and Substance Abuse disorders in the Atlanta Metro Area. My current endeavors include providing individual psychotherapy for low-income, indigent, and veteran populations in DeKalb County, GA and assisting new clinicians develop and hone their skills and abilities.

 

A dedicated professional in helping others heal from their past, I am a Licensed Certified/Clinical  Social Worker in the states of Alabama and Georgia, and is certified as a Masters Addiction Counselor by the National Association of Alcohol and Drug Counselors (NAADAC).
